If you are an incoming freshman admitted to The University of Oklahoma for Summer 2010 or Fall 2010, please secure your place in OU’s freshman class by submitting your $250 Enrollment Commitment. The Enrollment Commitment has two components::

• $60 for Advisement/Enrollment
• $190 for Housing/Tuition Advance Payment

The $60 portion will be applied directly to advisement/enrollment program expenses. The $190 advance payment will be applied to housing unless you receive an exemption to living in university housing. If a housing exemption is approved, the $190 advance payment will apply to academic charges in your first semester (tuition, fees, etc.). For freshmen living in university housing, your housing assignment priority is established according to the date OU receives your enrollment commitment or advance payment deferment.

We understand that not everyone has the financial ability to pay the entire $250 Enrollment Commitment initially, so we provide the opportunity for students who have financial need and plan to apply for federal financial aid to request a deferment of the $190 Housing/Tuition Advance Payment portion of the Enrollment Commitment. Even if you request a deferment of your advance payment, please complete your Housing and Food Services Contract as soon as possible. The $60 Advisement/Enrollment portion is still requested at your earliest convenience.

If you pay the Enrollment Commitment and then decide not to attend OU, your payment is refundable if you let us know in writing by May 1, 2010:
